Hey Everybody! Connor Here!
Today we went to England's Natural History Museum and had an AWESOME time!
The first exhibit we went to was Creepy Crawlies, where we saw many interactive booths all about bugs and some kinds of fish! There was even a life size African termite mound right in the middle. I also got to build a spider and the program formed the spider model as I made selections on the computer screen. It was a lot of fun. Next, we went to an ecology exhibit and learned about the planet in a fun interactive way, including a HUGE globe shaped tv screen, we even got to see how animals use energy. Afterwards, we ended up in a gift shop where i bought a stuffed dolphin and Zach got a stuffed penguin! (yes Caroline, Zach is also a penguin fan.) Afterwards, we bought tickets to go into the amazing "Land of The Dinosaurs" exhibition! We got to see many bones and body parts of dinosaurs, but the big draw of the exhibit was 6 or 7 incredibly lifelike animatronic dinosaurs! Afterwards, we went into this fantastic earthquake simulator which simulated a quite slimmed-down version of an earthquake in Japan. (Aleks is commenting that the subway ride home was rougher than the simulation)
Tally Ho!
